We are delighted that Caithness Archaeology: Aspects of Prehistory, by AOC’s managing director Andy Heald and chairman John Barber, is nominated in Current Archaeology’s Book of the Year Award 2016. This popular publication tackles one of the richest cultural landscapes in Europe. It offers an eminently readable and accessible account of the archaeology of Caithness and the people who have discovered, explored and excavated its sites and monuments.

We look forward to attending the awards ceremony, which takes place at Current Archaeology Live! 2016 on 26th of February. The full timetable and tickets are available here.

You can cast your vote for this and the other awards at www.aocarchaeology.co.uk/vote up to 8th February 2016.

Caithness Archaeology: Aspects of Prehistory is available to order online direct from Whittles Publishing.
