Jessica graduated from the University of Brighton in 2017 with a BSc in Geography with Archaeology, following which she went on to complete an MSc in Environmental Archaeology at University College London. During this time Jessica developed pre- and post- excavation skills across methods such as geoarchaeology, archaeobotany, GIS, and remote sensing. She also participated in archaeological fieldwork in southern England, Sicily, and Greece, including excavation of the Classical Greek city of Olynthos.

Jessica joined AOC in May 2019 as a field archaeologist before joining the geoarchaeology team in 2020, she has since undertaken numerous desk-based deposit models across the UK, supervised both rural/urban and large/small geoarchaeology fieldwork projects across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Northamptonshire with HS2; on the south coast with Lyminster Bypass; and in the north of England for the projects of North Lincolnshire Energy Park, Doggerbank South Wind Farm, and Outer Dowsing Wind Farm. Jessica is CSCS, SSSTS, and first aid at work (Red Cross/St Johns Ambulance) certified
