Unboxing begins!

AOC is delighted to be working alongside Culture Perth and Kinross, contributing to the development of Perth’s new heritage attraction. Over the next two years, our conservators will be preparing hundreds of prehistoric and medieval artefacts for display in the the new museum in Perth City Hall. We have just taken delivery of the first of four batches and are making our initial assessments so that we can schedule the work. We can’t wait to get started!

We will share stories of some of the highlights as we go along: keeping you up to date on progress of longer treatments; outlining how we treat certain materials and why; and sharing the unusual, the odd, and the aesthetically pleasing!
